Amal Vijay successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis. He is now a post-doctoral researcher in Prof. Paolo Carloni's group at FTH Julich, Germany.

Sreyas Adury completed the BSMS program with distinction and secured the Best MS Thesis award from the Chemistry Department for his work in developing an atom-by-atom de novo drug design method.

Congratulations Amal !!
Amal Vijay is nominated as principal candidate for prestigious Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral Fellowship for the year 2022-2023. The fellowship would enable him to do research work at the University of California, Irvine, USA for a period of nine months starting from september 2022.


 



As a Fulbright-Nehru fellow, Mr. Amal is interested in understanding the scope of  “RNA breathing” in RNA - protein recognition process using molecular dynamics simulation methods aided by enhanced sampling techniques in computational chemistry.
